 Verified We had a great stay. The house was exactly as described — cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. The location was really convenient for central Cessnock, with the main street, supermarkets and plenty of food options all within walking distance. The Tesla destination charger was a real bonus and made things much easier for us. Jane was also excellent to deal with — very responsive, helpful and flexible with our check-in and checkout times.  Verified Great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Good location - not too far from wineries, cafe’s and restaurants. It was especially good as we could bring our dog along with us as well.

 Verified We had a beautiful time, the place was perfect and felt like a home away from home. The fire pit was a great addition to our nights at home after big days exploring and being able to include our fur-babies was perfect. Added with the off street parking and a generous private fenced backyard. I would absolutely recommend anyone travelling to the Hunter region to stay. We would love to visit again 😊

 Verified Jane's place was lovely. Super convenient to Cessnock town and fast food shops. The EV charger also really came in handy. One thing to note was that only one bathroom is inside while there is a separate toilet and shower located outside on the deck, but easily accessible. We had a great time, and would definitely consider staying again on our return.

 Verified We had a fantastic stay here. Jane was very responsive to queries. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The backyard was a lovely bonus,perfect for relaxing after a long day and for the kids/pets to run around! The location is also a big plus, with shops and essentials just an easy walk away. Would happily stay here again.

Applecums is a beautiful little cottage that feels incredibly warm and welcoming — like coming home. The thoughtful details throughout the property make the entire stay relaxing and peaceful. The cabin is spotless and smells wonderfully fresh. The kitchen is very well laid out and equipped with all the modern amenities you need, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your time away. The outdoor spa is a huge highlight. Soaking outside while listening to the birds and watching the clouds drift by is pure bliss. We brought along our three well-travelled dachshunds and they had a wonderful time. One of the biggest drawcards for us when booking was the secure fencing for the dogs. It meant we could truly relax and switch off knowing they were safe. The deck overlooking the valley is superb, and we spent many hours simply enjoying the serenity. There are also plenty of games available, making it easy to connect with family and switch off from the world. The bathroom was fantastic — the best one we’ve experienced on any of our dog-friendly holidays. We cannot recommend this cabin highly enough for a dog-friendly getaway, or even for couples and families looking for a peaceful escape. Being so close to the beautiful historic town of Wollombi is an added bonus. We’re already planning our return trip.

Jane organised three incredible properties for our large group visiting Wollombi. ‘Capers Guesthouse’ was absolutely stunning, a true luxury. ‘The Boiling Billy Barn’ was so unique with its rustic charm and ‘Two8Seven5’ was a beautiful country haven. All three properties were a 5 minute walk to the main street cafes and tavern. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Jane !

She was the most helpful, organised , supportive partner , we could not have pulled off the wedding without her !
